cheers guys
yeah im looking at the td05 route as that should see me comfortably over the 350 mark and still be reliable. Considering this is my 4th engine then reliability is definately necessary |

Its cool that in a year its gone from something embarassing to have on our stand to something positive to have on our stand _________________ Under 400bhp makes baby jesus cry.

also when you say lowered springs and dampers what kit do you have?
personally i would be looking at getting a good suspension and geometary set up before going for loads of power _________________

| i am interested in going down a decent coilover set up - but as per usual vauxhall decided to spend extra money on making something worse that you can buy off the shelf. Considering the front hubs / suspension arms are all one unit and you have to have damper inserts then you can't get a coilover kit for them unless you get one custom made for at least £1500. |

well info would be good. after combe though i think i am going to try chill on the car expenditure a bit, considering the amount ive spent on this car i need to calm it down a bit, especially as its currently never actually been on a track. |

GAZ golds for the front are just over £600 for the pair.
Ive got a set of GAZ GHA (i think thats what they are called) coilovers. Fronts and rears. (Rears wouldnt be any good to you) forsale. _________________ Quote from PV "Your car could win....... if it rains"

| so you can't get GAZ Gold inserts but you can if you get GAZ GHA? obviously i would route down the insert option. might have to look into this as ive contacted FX, Spax and Gmax and none of them had any coilover kits for the car other than custom made. |

THE GHA kits have shock inserts. The Gold kit is a compleat unit. Both made by Gaz but at different prices.
Leda, harry hockley and H&R (iirc) sell coilovers for our cars. Gaz being the cheapest ive found. _________________ Quote from PV "Your car could win....... if it rains"
