|

hello all, my tigra rear wont lower.. the front is ok but the rear looks like a hummer. i had some -3 cm's springs working with my bilstein suspension and yesterday changed for -6 springs and still high.
But the problem is the following, i dont mind it looking like a hummer, i am just worried about the performance, and i noticed that the -6 spring coils are completly closed minus the last coil, the bottom coil. So the action of the entire spring is reduced to that last coil, the other 3 or 4 coils are close toguether, flat !!!
Is that normal??

my tigra is lowered 60mm all round n back end sits r8 up in the air, i dont know how it affects em to standard because ive never driven a standard one, all i know is that under breaking mine is really really arse end happy
stops the front lifting as much on 1/4 mile tho so not overly fussed. can live with the back end bin light |

Hi, sorry 'bout replying to an old post but this is a problem I have just had and it seems that firms are marketing lowering springs for the Tigra which just don't lower the rear. Jamex -40mm only lower 5mm.
I think the problem is the lightness of the tigra rear and uprated lowering springs.
The only way to go seems like coilovers, but damned expensive. |
