without knowing any details a bit hard to guess.. however as many of us have recently found out the airflow meter has to be a fair distance away from the turbo when installing a larger turbo.. try adding some bends in the pipework if possible.
that assuming you have a std type setup. add a few more details if that doesnt help. |

Clean out the ICV as a matter of course...
What turbo are you running? KKK or something else? If its bigger than standard then as Stu mentioned some longer pipework will help - spacing the AFM away from the turbo basically. _________________ Will be coming back to the Vaux side soon... I hope! |

if its std kkk and you've got same pipe between turbo and AFM it won't be that.. when you said turbo conversion without anymore details i assumed a change of turbo..
so this is an engine transplant yes?
Does it start and idle okay then struggle once warmed up, or can it not idle from first turn of the key?
are ANY relevant parts NOT from the donor car? or was the entire running engine/loom/ecu and all sensors swapped over? and do you know if it ran okay in the donor car? |

My mate had the vectra wen it was just a standard 20 16v eco scrap engine it had blew up so he stuck in the good old reliable redtop engine and it run 100% he drove it to pvs 2008 then i bought it of him in july then took it of the road in january 2009 to get her turboed for pvs 2009. Ever since i got her finished at the start of march it has never idled correctly. Yes it only ticks over like a yoyo wen first turn of the key in the mornin wen cold it nearly cuts out. It does it sumtimes wen engine warm _________________ Vauxhall all the way
