I could do with a spare Hard Drive as mine has 1 gig left !
What style cables do the hard drives use ? I don't know what they call it but I know there are several types. _________________ ATMO engines FTW |

There are generally 2 types of connection for hard drives in desktop PC's, the older IDE and the newer SATA cables.
You can get IDE>SATA convertors if you want to use an older drive in a newer machine but not the other way round.
If your running out of space might I suggest a program called "cleanup!" on the steve someone or other site, quick google and run of that it'll get rid of temp files that the normal windows disk clean up wizard wont... _________________ "In a perfect world... spammers would get caught, go to jail, and share a cell with many men who have enlarged their penises, taken Viagra and are looking for a new relationship." |

How much for the drive then, I wouldn't know which one is best I just need one as mine are IDE.
My pc is full of video clips, films, pictures and 80 gig of music so there isn't that much to clean up really _________________ ATMO engines FTW |

Get a second drive for data, drop your temp and swap files on it as well and just leave the OS on the original...
Would need to see model numbers to know which drive would be best, although to be fair theres probably not much in it. _________________ "In a perfect world... spammers would get caught, go to jail, and share a cell with many men who have enlarged their penises, taken Viagra and are looking for a new relationship." |
