umm interesting, i've found if you pack more clutches in the txb it locks the plates together engaging rear drive. also in factory spec the cluthes are engaged by high pressure oil running within the power steering system, this enters the txb in a chamber (for disciption sake) applying pressure to the clutch plates which come together and supply drive. removing the fuse dis-engages the power supply to the solinoid at which point no oil can pass into the chamber and therefore no drive. _________________ www.norrismotorsport.co.uk |

| they are on about the disks in the viscous coupling not the clutch pack. |

| the e30 has a longitudinal engine though so not really simpler no. |
